Asphalt milling has many names that include: milling, cold planing, profiling and scarifying. This is the process of removing the top part of the surface of a paved area like a road or parking lot. Milling can remove any amount of top coat to suit the goal: to level and smooth the surface or to a full depth removal to correct defects or deformations.
The goal of RAR with a mill and pave is generally to correct surface defects or deformation. Once your asphalt is properly assessed, a solution can be formulated and your asphalt can be corrected.
